Even though it offers the same landscape of deserted coves and turquoise waters, the largest island of Sporades is a lot wilder and has a completely different character from the rest of the archipelago. Skyros has preserved its identity, famous for its beautiful carved and painted furniture and ceramics.
The small port of Linaria has only a limited number of berths but it is very well equipped.The archipelago of the Sporades includes also many islands and uninhabited islets such as Kyra Panagia, Peristera and Skantzoura that offer good
anchorages in coves.
